As long as I can remember I’ve had a paintbrush in my hand. Drawing anything and everything I came in contact with. My inspiration comes from all walks of life. More recently from my much travelled past where I was fortunate enough to experience many different cultures and peoples, and growing up in Southern Africa imbued me with a sense of colour and vibrancy which I impart into my paintings.

My inspiration took me to art school where I received my Bachelor of Arts First Class Degree. Since then I’ve worked part time as an artist, most recently exhibiting with London Comtemporary Art in Pimlico, Mimosa Oriel in Llandeilo, Goat St Gallery in St Davids and Golden Sheaf in Narbeth. I now reside in wales away from the hustle and bustle of city life where I can concentrate on my creativity and putting that into a full time practice.

My paintings of the female figure is an ode to the ‘sacred feminine’ which I enjoy portraying across various cultural traditions. I look to beauty in art , not only of face but of colour, simplicity of composition and texture. I also enjoy abstract figurative painting where I explore my interests of mythology, spirituality and ancient Mystical Knowledge and I often portray ancient beings of the mythological past.
